Have you been keeping up with the latest bullshit propagated by the pharmaceutical industry? (Yeah, I know, it's a stupid question. How could you not be keeping up? They spam us with their inane commercials on nearly every television show, whether it's news, entertainment, sports or whatever).

Their latest scare tactic has to do with the human papilloma virus (HPV). They're claiming that it causes cervical cancer. Of course (I'm sure you know) Big Pharma pays for all the research that ostensibly supports their bogus claims.

I recently came across some information that basically rips them a new asshole.

I gotta tell ya, I'm in agreement with Kevin Trudeau on this one. We should never forget that Big Pharma is big business. There is thus an inherent conflict of interest permeating their every move. It's really simple: They want to sell you drugs.

And that's about all they want to do.

They could give a rat's patooey if you get better. As a matter of fact, they probably don't want you to get better. They'd lose a paying customer. They want to treat you, not cure you.

Their pompous posturing (so repulsively evident in their ubiquitous - and evil - television commercials) actually reminds me of Republican, conservative duplicity, like the kind they wielded when they scared us into re-electing the present moron for a 2nd term.

Scare tactics. That is what it's really all about.

Big Pharma has got a bunch of people convinced that certain pathogenic agents are causing certain diseases. According to the reading that I've done, it just ain't so.

They've already got hospitals giving mandatory AIDS tests to expectant mothers, because they've convinced the mainstream medical warlords/high priests that a hypothetical factor they call the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is causing that completey bogus disease. Now they're trying to persuade legislators to pass laws that will require girls as young as 11 to be subjected to an immunization procedure that will protect them from HPV.

Yeah, Big Pharma is just like the Republican Party (not to mention all the religious wackos in the world), full of crapola.
