GENOCIDE Are the Muslims asking for genocide? Sometimes I think they just might be. Especially when they start murdering innocent children. And being the Bible thumper that I am, I can't help but be reminded of the slaughtering that was commanded by God in the Old Testament. I think maybe it's time to take another look at it. God's approval of the total extermination of a selected tribe or nation is a sore spot for the non-believers, but I don't have a problem with it. Maybe it's because of my position on multiculturalism (I'm opposed to it). I believe the people who were wiped out in those ancient times were something like the misguided reprobates who killed the innocent children in Russia. Personally, I'd have no problems whatsoever with killing every one of them. Even their innocent. You can't take the risk of missing any of the bad ones. Besides, they started it. They deserve it. I was very put off when President Bush started going on and on about the Muslims (right after 911), how all of them weren't bad, that it was only a small minority, some crazy fundamentalist types, that were doing the damage and giving the rest of them a bad name. That may be true, but I don't care. The very fact that the bad ones came from the batch of good ones is reason enough for me to destroy the whole batch. Kill 'em all. Let God sort them out. I think a nation deserves to die if it lacks the gumption or chutzpa to keep radicals like Saddam Hussein from rising to power. Think about it. He rose to power in the context of a particular culture. That culture should be destroyed for allowing it. Just take a hard look at what that same culture continues doing to this day. We give far too much consideration to their religious beliefs. We hesitate to destroy their shrines. I say to hell with their shrines. Level them to the ground. Every one of them. The Bible tells us in plain language how to deal with these kind of people:
And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword." (Joshua 6:21)
They even killed the animals! Like the song says, "Joshua fit the battle." And they still weren't finished:
And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. (Joshua 6:24)
They burned the slain like the vermin they were. But there's more:
And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. (Joshua 6:26)
Don't even think about re-building the vile place. If you do, you'll pay for it with the life of your firstborn son and your youngest. I'm thinking maybe it's time for some righteous indignation; time destroy these animals. Yeah, maybe it's time for another Joshua.
